I just read an article that said the show would be on hiatus until August. I think it's a good decision for the family - it will give them some time to sort through this mess away from our peering eyes. The whole thing is sad and devastating - both for Jon & Kate and for the kids.

Thanks, Mary. I look forward to seeing more of you in the future. I'm trying to get on a regular blog writing schedule. We'll see how it goes!

I agree - think it's very sad and I don't have a snarky comment to make- but there has definitely been a change in personality in Jon this season. He went on a ski trip on her birthday, didn't help in the planning or set up of the sextuplets birthday, all of a sudden has a sports car and both ears pierced? What's going on with him? He acts like his normal self in front of his kids, but one on one in the interviews he acts like he doesn't care - and says he puts his kids first. It was very obvious in the first show this season that he resents the fact that Kate has been travelling lately. I've read the articles, I don't tend to believe them because actions speak louder than words. It bothers me that he could sit in the interview chair and act like separating and divorce didn't bother him at all. I also don't think that he is totally at fault, but no one can totally blame Kate for her actions in previous seasons, she did rule the roost but he as he admitted last night was very passive and allowed it to happen.

I definitely don't think that their church should have shunned them. What an example they are - they had the perfect opportunity to minister to a family in need and they tell them not to come back? Remind me not to ever go to that church...the church exists for believers and non-believers. If you can't count on your church to be there for you and to hold you accountable then what is it there for?
