In case you didn’t know, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and children everywhere will be exchanging sweet little cards. My little lady is one of those kids, and if you know me at all, you know that I couldn’t very well let her hand out some ugly store bought cards. SO, I came up with a sweet little design that incorporates her favorite candy: Smarties.

Aren’t they cute? Because I love you, I made a free printable file so you can make these sweet little Smarties Love Bug Valentines with your little one. They’re super simple to make, and your child will have fun handing them out in class.

All you’ll need is some bright white card stock, a paper cutter (or scissors), a pen, and some pretty washi tape. Let your kiddo fill in their name after you get them all cut out, and use the washi tape to secure the Smarties to the Valentines. Simple as can be!

Happy card-making! If you download the Valentines and enjoy them, please leave a comment to let me know. Thanks!
Until next time, grace and peace.

In case you’ve been living under a rock and need a reminder, Mother’s Day is Sunday. As in just a few days from now. Because I know some of you are procrastinators deadline-oriented like I am, I thought I’d share a free printable Mother’s Day Card with you, courtesy of Senojal Designs, my custom stationery shop.

I designed this card for my mom last year, and although the words are particular to our relationship, I daresay they may apply to your mom too. If you like the design, you’re free to download it and give it to the special lady in your life.

I had big plans of designing a brand new Easter card for all of you this year, but time got away from me, and it just didn’t happen. But lucky for you, last year’s free Easter card from Senojal Designs is still available. Easter is a time for celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s a time of hope and renewal and all things new. This card features colorful butterflies soaring above some spring grass. I know of no better symbol of transformation than a butterfly: the caterpillar has to “die” so that the butterfly can live. Jesus had to die so that we also may live. Feel free to print the card and give it away to whomever you like.

Wonder of wonders. Over the past week, the thermometer has dipped below 70 degrees here in the Deep South. I’ve celebrated by dressing Micah in long-sleeved onesies and leggings, because when you’re accustomed to temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees, a 70 degree day feels downright chilly.
We ate vegetable soup on Sunday for lunch.
And Monday night for supper.
And I suddenly became obsessed with all things fall. Which is good for you, since I’m offering another free printable goodie from Senojal Designs. This time, it’s a “Happy Fall, Y’all!” notecard. Last week, a friend and I spotted these signs all over the little town of Red Bay, Alabama, and I knew I had to do something with it for you. So here you go, a notecard that’s free for the taking.
This is my not-so-subtle way of encouraging you to jump on the handwritten note bandwagon, but I know what you’re really waiting for is the information on how you may get your hands on some free stationery. So I’ll quit rambling and cut to the chase.
